Tomorrow is the last Friday of the Month – it’s a non-uniform day!


The Student Lighthouse Team is looking for donations of the following items:

  • Individually packaged whole-grain chips and animal crackers
  • Individually packaged popcorn
  • Real Fruit Snacks/Fruit Roll-Ups (snacks with a leading fruit ingredient)
  • Individually packaged beef jerk snacks

If you would like to donate any of these items, the students would truly appreciate it! Donations are needed by Friday September 24th.


The Student Lighthouse Team has planned a walk in honor of Mrs. & Mr. Tobias’ son, Walker James, and all those who have lost an infant. Parents/Grandparents are invited to join students for the outdoor walk on October 1 from 2:20pm – 3:00pm. Guests should meet at the chapel entrance. If you would like to honor a family impacted by the loss of a baby with a balloon, return the order form NO LATER THAN THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 30th. Students will be selling candy bars before school and healthy snacks during lunch Monday Sept 27 – Friday October 2. All snacks and candy bars are $1. Proceeds will go to “Team Walker”, Mrs. Tobias fundraising efforts for the Sufficient Grace Ministries “Race for Grace”.

All students will receive a free “Walk for Walker” HCCS t-shirt.
The shirt was designed by student lighthouse member Megynn Killion and fabricated by Mrs. Killion and lighthouse members. Students are encouraged to wear this shirt on

Friday October 1. Students may also wear this shirt on Mondays throughout the school year.

  • Lost and found items are kept in the school office. Feel free to stop in and look for missing items!
  • CHIEF SUPERMARKET RECEIPTS COLLECTED. HCCS receives funding for all Chief receipts collected during the school year. Please collect and tell your friends and family! You can send receipts in the M&M envelope.
  • All HCCS students have free access to the YMCA through the end of December. Take advantage of your membership benefits this fall by signing up for a team sport, visiting the YMCA to swim, use of the gym and take classes at membership rates!
  • All HCCS Families have free access thousands of movies, programs, audio and books instantly through FORMED, a streaming service pulling together the best in Catholic movies, children’s programming, audio dramas and books.

  • Lending Library at HCCS: HCCS has a lending library! A lending library is an outdoor place where the public can borrow a book and donate books. The library is located in the bus loop on Clinton Street. Come visit and borrow a book this summer!
