Parent STILL Volunteers Needed for Lilac Festival

HCCS will be out at the Children’s Tent at the Lilac Festival on Saturday May 8th. In addition to handing out information about our awesome school, there will be sidewalk chalking and a building creation area for us to oversee. The event runs 10am-4pm and we are looking for volunteers to pop in for an hour or two throughout the day. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Meyer at or text 419-450-5193

Parent Volunteers Needed for Field Day Things that Go

Our field day will take place on Monday May 24th. From 9:30-11:30 we will host our “Things that Go” event in the school parking lot. We are in need of parents to help students interact with the many different “exbibits”. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Meyer at or 419-784-2021. Students will get to explore all of the exhibits – some will be hands on, some will be just to look. Antique cars, trucks, farm equipment…our list of “Things That Go” for students to explore is growing! If you have a “thing that goes” that you would like to offer for our two hour event, please contact Mrs. Meyer.

Students going into third, fourth or fifth grade next school year are eligible to apply for the Student Lighthouse Team. We encourage anyone interested to apply!  Applications can be picked up in the school office or printed from the attached. Applications are due Friday May 7th.

Congratulations Second Grade!

What a beautiful celebration this past Wednesday of coming closer to Jesus and the First Communion Milestone. Check our website and Facebook for photos!

The Teachers would like to thank everyone for their kind notes, delicious daily lunch and other gestures of appreciation. They love teaching and appreciate your parent/guardian support!
