TESTING STARTS NEXT WEEK

Kindergarten-Fifth grade will take the MAP (Measure of Academic Performance) test next week. Each test takes approximately 45 minutes. Kindergarten – Second Grade will be tested in reading and math. Third – Fifth Grade are tested in reading, math and language arts. Fifth grade is also tested in science. Students take these tests twice a year and the results help teachers understand areas of strength and area that need work. Your child’s teacher will review test results with you during Parent-Teacher-Student conferences on November 2 & 5.

You can help your child prepare for their test by ensuring they get 8-10 hours of sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and avoid stress (like running late) on the morning of their test(s).

All tests are administered by Mr. Cramer in the technology lab using desktop computers.
