One Way you share God’s love with your students:
We talk about conflicts that arise. It is important that each person involved has the chance to share their side of the story and all parties are ready to think win-win. I do this to teach children to look beyond their point of view and see others’ point of view. It is amazing what children learn about each other and how to solve conflicts on their own.
One job-related goal you have this year:
I want to help children understand that we all make mistakes. When you do, you should show God’s love and apologize. It is how we get along with others. “I also want the children to know that it is ok to say, I am not ready to talk about what happens but I will talk later. “
One thing you are very proud of in your classroom:
I am proud of how well children can solve conflict when we teach them how. This is a skill that they will use the rest of their lives.
