Title: Fourth Grade Teacher

Years Teaching: 38 years

One Way you share God’s love with your students:

I have the privilege of directing the students for choir at Masses. It brings such joy to my heart to head our young leaders and all who attend Mass praising God through music.

One job-related goal you have this year:

I continually strive to learn more about technology and the applications for enhancing learning for my students. I try to learn about the individual devices the students are using and further uses for our Clever Touch Screen. I also work on improving my understanding of technology that is used by faculty and staff.

One thing you are very proud of in your classroom:

I am proud of the knowledge students have gained concerning types of literature, or genres. Each quarter students set AR (Accelerated Reader) “Genre Gong Goals” and they are exposed to various forms of reading materials. Sometimes they are even surprised that they enjoyed reading a genre they typically aren’t interested in such as a mystery, biography or nonfiction book.
